Through the Institute for Nonprofit Development, The
Center provides many opportunities to connect you with our students and faculty,
with high quality training, community discussion on relevant trends, management coaching in five areas of capacity building (leadership development,
organizational development, revenue development, program development, and
community engagement), and (when available) financial support for activities
contributing to your success in these five areas. We also provide additional
outlets for communicating your message and collaborating directly with colleagues.
Our
services are available to all non-profit entities operating in north central
Massachusetts, regardless of mission-focus; some specific grant-funded
activities may have requirements regarding how our resources are prioritized
according to organizational size and/or mission. These prioritization criteria
will be completely transparent and fully explained for each opportunity.
We
specifically welcome feedback on services you would find of value. In particular, we are developing ideas for connecting professionals working in large and medium sized
organizations in our service area with smaller community-based organizations, grassroots advocates,
and faith-based providers of social services for (potentially grant supported) fee-for-service peer-to-peer coaching.
