We all wish we had more
time, more resources, and more skills. At the Mount, we provide professional
development in a variety of settings--including personalized on-site training,
on-line options (both instructor led and self-paced), credit-options, and
non-credit offerings.
The Center works to
connect you with these existing resources to promote your individual success,
because a well-educated workforce is directly connected to overall community
health.
We believe that
individuals who grow and adapt professionally contribute to healthy learning
organizations; therefore, the Center also seeks grant-funding to bring you free
or reduced cost professional development opportunities with a clear and direct
connection to “building capacity” in your organization.
More simply put, we hope to contribute to a more
vibrant region by connecting you with skills that you will in
turn bring back to your organization--creating stronger supports for the environmental, arts
& culture and safety-net services by improving the organizations promoting these values. Find skill-building workshops sponsored by the Center specifically to improve your effectiveness,
efficiency and long-term sustainability. You may also find relevant
training opportunities through the Massachusetts Network of Nonprofits training database
and The Enterprise Bank Nonprofit Collaborative.
