An educated and engaged nonprofit workforce is key to a healthy and vital community. At the Institute for Nonprofit Development, we are committed to providing relevant, affordable local training such as the Community Vitality Summit held in September of 2009. This day-long conference was funded in part by a grant to Mount Wachusett Community College from the Compassion Capital Fund, through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Administration for Children and Families, as well as through additional sponsorships from Associated Grant Makers of Boston. Valed at $160, this support reduced the cost to participants to $40.
